Chef Krish Ashok to serve a yummy treat
Nagpur: The Vidarbha Literary Festival (VLF) is all set to host chef and author Krish Ashok at its next run-up event on April 30.
Ashok’s book ‘Masala Lab: The Science of Indian Cooking’ gives insights into the process of Indian cooking, one scientific step at a time. In conversation with Ashok will be Kanishka Singhee, a trained clinical psychologist, avid reader and passionate foodie.

The event holds special promise not just for food lovers, food bloggers, food specialists, food entrepreneurs, but also young adults and seasoned homemakers who relish every morsel of every meal.
VLF connects readers and invites contemporary writers to Nagpur for in-person interactions. VLF has given the city a hugely successful, first of its kind, non-fiction literature festival in February 2020. “It was attended by 45 non-fiction authors and more than 15 publishing houses who came to Nagpur to celebrate books and reading,” informs VLF secretary Sachin Jahagirdar.
The event will be held at Chitnavis Centre at 5pm. Participants are to occupy their seats by 4.50pm. Registration for the event is free but mandatory. Only the fully vaccinated will be given entry.
